What is in the beta#
Cloud Hosted
This page lists what you can use on a hosted BrewGraph account at the start of the free, invite-only beta. Only the features listed below are available on a hosted beta account.
Account and app#
Create your account from the invitation email with an email address and password, or Google. The first time you sign in from a new browser or device, enter the one-time code emailed to you; then you land in the app. See Getting Started.
Install the web app on your phone or computer. See Install the App.
Choose your units in Settings > Units, and switch between dark and light theme from the app header.
Turn on push notifications in Settings > Notifications.
Send a message from the Support page in the app.
Devices#
Register up to 3 devices.
Supported gravity devices: iSpindel, Gravitymon, and TiltBridge (for a Tilt). See TiltBridge.
Each device can send a reading about every 15 minutes.
PressureMon (firmware 0.8) sends pressure readings. Temperature sent with a gravity reading is also available. Pour and standalone temperature devices are coming soon on Cloud Hosted.
Batches#
Keep up to 5 batches.
Follow a batch on its gravity chart, see the temperature sent with each gravity reading, add notes, use the yeast library, and download a batch summary report.
Import a batch from Brewfather or from a BeerXML file.
Download your brewing data and a full backup at any time.
Storage and serving#
Keep up to 5 storage vessels (kegs and bottles).
Set up 2 taps, record pours manually, and share tap and bottle lists.
Your data#
In Settings > Data & Privacy you can download your brewing data and a full backup on every beta account.
Deleted batches, devices, taps, vessels, and notes stay in the Recycle Bin for 30 days.
You can close your account at any time. Download anything you want to keep first.
Limits#
The numbers above are the limits for your account. You can store up to 100,000 measurement readings, including temperature sent with gravity. See Limits for the full table. Fermentation steps, completion predictions, and cross-batch comparison are available. Chamber control is coming soon.
Release notes#
0.13.0 — 1 November 2026
TiltBridge is a device of its own, available on every plan. In TiltBridge’s Configure Generic JSON Target page, paste the address with the token into Generic Target URL and press Update. The plain address without a token does not work. Gravity (specific gravity or Plato) and temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit) are converted when they arrive. See TiltBridge.
KegMon can send an optional
temperature(°C) with a pour or a level report; it is stored as the keg’s temperature. A pour for a tap with no keg is ignored. A tap accepts up to 20 pour reports per minute. See Device Ingest API.The pour history of a keg shows a level chart and a per-day chart with time range chips and zoom, and only the keg’s current fill.
The keg’s Measurements tab opens on the first view that has readings.
Open pages update by themselves when a pour or a new reading arrives.
The “offline” indicator on a tap is gone: a KegMon only reports when its level changes, so a quiet tap is normal.
0.12.0 — 31 October 2026
The device token can go in the address. For iSpindel, GravityMon, and PressureMon, and for the Nautilus relay setup, the full address with the token works as
https://<ingest host>/ingest/<device>?token=<token>or/ingest/<device>/<token>. The device page shows all three ways with a copy button, which helps for devices with no token field. KegMon and the chamber controller, where enabled, keep the token in the request.BrewGraph stores what a device reports as it is received. A value is refused only when it is not a number, or when the whole reading holds nothing to store. See Ingest error codes for the
422error. A KegMon level is taken as the truth, and a pour is recorded even when the level report came first. Level reports right after a pour are no longer refused by the interval check.A device is marked as seen on every request it makes, also when the request is refused. The rejection list in the admin shows the reason.
A device that stops reporting gives you one “offline” notification instead of one every half hour, and the activity feed records when it is back online.
PressureMon is now available on Cloud Hosted (firmware 0.8). See PressureMon.
PressureMon: pressure shows on the device page and on the device card. A PressureMon assigned to a keg shows its latest reading. You can assign pressure devices from the keg page.
A batch opens on the first measurements tab that has readings.
Free includes PressureMon (firmware 0.8), fermentation steps, completion prediction, cross-batch comparison, forwarding, shareable tap and bottle lists, manual entry, and the carbonation estimate. Other device classes open when they have been verified. The limits (3 devices, 5 active batches, reporting interval, and measurement budget) and advanced functions are unchanged.
0.11.8 — 30 October 2026
A reading from an iSpindel or Gravitymon without a gravity value (the field left out or sent as
null) is accepted. The other values are stored and the gravity shows–, so the gap shows that the device reaches BrewGraph and the fault is in its gravity value. A request with nothing storable is still refused. See Ingest error codes.
0.11.7 — 30 October 2026
A batch has a planned ABV that you can set by hand, and a measured ABV calculated from the measured OG and FG, shown next to it. When the OG or FG change and you have not edited the ABV, the planned ABV is recalculated from them.
Battery percentage and battery voltage are stored and shown as separate values. Neither is calculated from the other, so a device that sends only one of them, or both, is shown as it sent them.
A reading without a battery value shows
--instead of a blank or a zero.Payload capture accepts the device token in the address (
POST /api/ingest/test/<token>), for devices that cannot put the token in the request body. The setup section on a tap is now called How to configure this device, like on the device page, and the vessel picker shows the batch name next to the vessel name.
The KegMon beer lookup returns the name of the beer on the tap instead of the name of the keg, and its ABV: the measured ABV when there is one, otherwise the planned.
0.11.6 — 28 October 2026
Your device’s readings are stored as it sends them. A battery voltage above 10 V, or a signal strength above 0, is no longer changed or dropped. A value the device leaves out is shown as nothing instead of 0.
The batch gravity tab shows reported battery readings.
Plans with a shorter reporting interval no longer turn away readings sent more often than the free interval.
The installed app on iOS no longer stays on the start screen after an update. It checks for the new version and reloads itself.
0.11.5 — 27 October 2026
Work out why a device’s data is not arriving with the Ingestion log in Settings. It shows the 15 newest requests from your devices that were turned away, with the reason, device, source, IP address, and detail, and you can download all of them as a JSON file.
See exactly what a new kind of device sends with Payload capture in Settings. It is open to every account. See When a device’s data is not arriving.
An account can no longer go over a limit by creating two things at the same moment.
0.11.4 — 25 October 2026: features available at launch
